2014-2017 Toyota Tundra

For a 2014-2017 Toyota Tundra, this daytime running light kit from Diode Dynamics adds a pure white running light strip to the bottom of the standard headlight housings that switches to amber with turn signal.

 

This was a quick and simple service for a local customer that arrived in the morning and left in the afternoon with the project complete.

 

This is the OEM housing once removed from the truck.  The Tundra actually has two trim levels of headlights: one with a DRL setup and this ‘standard’ setup without DRL.

 

The product being installed fits right into place and is held in place with some epoxy.

Running light circuit activated!  They run at pure white (5000K) which is super pretty and bright.

      

 

And since they are switchback strips, they blink orange with the turn signal.  In order to capture a picture of them both on, I used the hazards.

 

And that’s that!  A real nice subtle touch to make some OEM headlights really stand out with some quality products.  Good stuff.
